32 cents for a gallon of gas... sounds great doesn't it? That's how much you would expect to pay in 1946. However, even 32 cents was too much for Leo Moss. He had returned from the war to find the lumber yard that he had worked for was out of business. So, to help make ends meet he started installing glass out of a tent in his back yard.
Leo didn't start out with any dreams to own the largest stained glass studio in the Midwest, he was just offering above average service and treating his customers like he would treat his own family.
The rest as they say is history... Moss has come a long way since that little tent in Leo's back yard - our 20,000 square foot facility is located right on top of where that tent once stood - but one thing hasn't changed, we are still most interested in treating others just like we want to be treated.
Once you've experienced Moss Glass Co.'s service, you'll not want to go anywhere else for glass… Oh - and about that 32 cent gas - let us know if you find that anywhere!
